Business Growth

I Became My Own Target Market

Five years into business, I realised my brand and website hadn’t caught up with my growth. Here’s what that taught me.

A few years into running my business, I realised something uncomfortable.

My skills had grown.
My confidence had grown.
My client results had grown.

But parts of my brand had not.

I had started the way many business owners do. DIY website. Self taken photos. Writing my own copy. Learning through trial and error.

It made sense at the time.

But as my business matured, the gap became noticeable.

Growth Requires Reinforcement

I began outsourcing.

Professional photography.
Copywriting support.
Mentorship.
Business development guidance.

Not because I could not do it myself, but because I understood the value of external perspective and strategic refinement.

That shift changed how my business felt.

More aligned.
More confident.
More intentional.

This Is Why I Work With Established Businesses

Because I understand that stage.

The moment where you realise your presentation needs to catch up with your expertise.

Outgrowing DIY is not a failure. It is progress.

If you feel that shift happening in your own business, you are likely closer to your next stage than you think.

You can explore what that next stage might look like here.
