The Strategic Design Day is a dedicated working session reserved specifically for your project. The following policy outlines how bookings, payments, preparation, and scheduling are managed.
Investment: $1,800 + GST
Deposit: 50% to secure booking
Balance: Remaining 50% auto charged 24 hours before session
Session hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Preparation deadline: 3 business days before session
Rescheduling fee: $250 + GST
Additional work: $140 + GST per hour
Post project support: 1 week email support
The Strategic Design Day investment is $1,800 AUD plus GST.
To secure your booking, a 50 percent deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining 50 percent balance will be automatically charged 24 hours before your scheduled design day using the same payment method used for the original deposit.
Please ensure the card used for booking has sufficient funds available at this time.
Work cannot begin until the full payment has been successfully processed.
If the remaining balance cannot be processed successfully, the session cannot proceed as scheduled and will need to be rescheduled.
If the remaining balance cannot be successfully processed 24 hours before the scheduled Strategic Design Day, the session cannot proceed as planned.
In this situation, the session will need to be rescheduled to a new date, and a rescheduling fee of $250 plus GST will apply.
The new date will be confirmed once the outstanding balance and rescheduling fee have been paid.
Please ensure the payment method used at the time of booking remains valid and has sufficient funds available before the automatic charge is processed.
A two day cooling off period applies after your initial booking.
If you decide to cancel your Strategic Design Day within two calendar days of making your booking, your 50 percent deposit will be refunded in full.
After this two day period has passed, the deposit becomes non refundable, as the date has been reserved in the schedule.
To ensure the design day runs efficiently, all required materials must be submitted at least three business days before your scheduled session.
This may include content, images, brand assets, platform access, or any other materials requested during the preparation stage.
If required materials are not provided within this timeframe, the session may need to be rescheduled, and the rescheduling fee will apply.
If you need to move your Strategic Design Day, you may request a new date based on availability.
A rescheduling fee of $250 plus GST applies to move a confirmed booking. This fee reflects the reserved time in the schedule.
Rescheduling may occur in the following situations:
• you request a new date after booking
• required preparation materials are not submitted on time
• the remaining balance cannot be successfully processed
• the project cannot proceed due to unavailable feedback during the session
The new session date will be confirmed based on availability once any outstanding balance and the rescheduling fee have been paid.
Strategic Design Day bookings are non refundable after the two day cooling off period.
If you cancel after this period, the initial 50 percent deposit will not be refunded as the date has been reserved specifically for your project.
The Strategic Design Day is a time based service, not a revision based package.
The session runs for 8 hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm, during which we work collaboratively to complete the agreed priorities for the day.
There is no set limit on revision rounds during the session. Feedback, refinements, and adjustments can be made throughout the day as needed.
However, the amount of work that can be completed will depend on:
• the scope and complexity of the tasks
• the responsiveness and clarity of feedback provided
• how efficiently decisions are made throughout the day
Before the session begins, a priority list of tasks will be established. Work will begin with the highest priority items and continue through the list as time allows.
While every effort will be made to complete as many items as possible, completion of lower priority tasks cannot be guaranteed if earlier work requires additional time.
The Strategic Design Day is designed to be a collaborative process where feedback and decisions are provided throughout the day.
Clients are expected to remain reasonably available during the session to review work, answer questions, and provide feedback when needed.
Delays in feedback, multiple revisions, or changes to previously approved work may impact how much can be completed within the scheduled session.
For example, if new feedback or additional revisions are introduced later in the day, there may not be sufficient time remaining to complete all requested changes.
If feedback is not provided when required or the client becomes unavailable during the session, the project may need to be rescheduled, and the rescheduling fee will apply.
Strategic Design Day deliverables are completed within the allocated 8 hour session.
If additional revisions, requests, or tasks extend beyond the scheduled time, further work may be scheduled at an hourly rate of $140 AUD plus GST.
Additional work will be scheduled based on availability and may not occur immediately after the original design day.
Clients may also choose to book an additional Strategic Design Day if further support is required.
Strategic Design Day bookings include one week of email support following the completion of the session.
This support is intended for questions relating to the work completed during the design day, such as guidance on using files, exporting assets, or preparing files for printing or digital use.
Examples may include:
• clarification on how to send files to a printer
• guidance on how to export or use design assets
• answering questions about files delivered during the session
This support does not include additional revisions, design changes, or new work.
If further design updates or revisions are requested after the session, they will be quoted and completed at the hourly rate of $140 AUD plus GST, subject to availability.
If an error is identified that was made during the design session, it will be corrected at no additional cost.
Clients will receive the final files required for their intended use. This may include formats suitable for print, digital use, or web use depending on the project.
Working files such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or other editable source files are not automatically included unless this has been agreed in advance.
Certain projects, such as packaging design or assets that require future technical editing, may include editable files where appropriate.
For other projects such as brochures or marketing materials, the deliverables may include final export files rather than full working files.
If working files are required, this can be discussed prior to the session and may be quoted separately.
Strategic Design Days may include website page or landing page design, however this does not automatically include implementation or development on an existing website.
Website builds or page implementation may only be completed where the existing website platform and structure allow for efficient work within the allocated session.
If website implementation is requested, the platform and website structure must be reviewed prior to the design day to confirm suitability.
In some cases, the design may be completed during the session while implementation may need to be scheduled separately.
If the website platform or structure limits what can reasonably be completed within the design day, the service may be limited to design only, with development quoted separately if required.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete materials for use during the Strategic Design Day. This may include copy, images, brand assets, documents, or other content required for the requested design work.
While reasonable care will be taken when working with the materials provided, Mojo Design Co is not responsible for errors contained within client supplied content, including spelling mistakes, incorrect information, or inaccuracies in the materials provided.
Clients are also responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any materials supplied, including images, fonts, logos, or other assets.
Any content provided by the client will be assumed to be approved for use.
Where files are prepared for print or production, clients are responsible for reviewing and approving final artwork before printing or distribution. Mojo Design Co cannot be held responsible for errors identified after final approval or after files have been supplied to third parties.
Strategic Design Days are designed to work with existing brand foundations.
As part of the booking process, clients are required to upload their brand guidelines or relevant brand assets. This ensures all work completed during the session can align consistently with the established brand.
At a minimum, brand materials should include:
These materials allow the design work completed during the session to remain consistent with the existing brand.
If brand guidelines or essential brand assets are incomplete or unavailable, the requested work may not be suitable for a Strategic Design Day and the session may need to be adjusted or rescheduled.
Strategic Design Days are not intended for developing brand identity foundations from scratch.
All design work created during the Strategic Design Day is developed specifically for the client’s business use.
Upon completion of the Strategic Design Day and delivery of the final assets, the client receives the rights to use the final approved designs for their business and marketing purposes.
Mojo Design Co retains the right to display completed work in portfolios, case studies, social media, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed.
Where design work is intended for use on third party platforms such as printers, websites, or marketing software, Mojo Design Co is not responsible for issues caused by platform limitations, technical changes, or third party errors.
Strategic Design Days are designed to complete focused design tasks within a dedicated session. They are not intended for large scale projects such as full brand developments, full website builds, or projects requiring extensive research, strategy, or development.
Mojo Design Co may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply to that Strategic Design Day.
