Carli and Shannon approached me to create the brand identity for their new venture, Passive Form, a passive home building company specialising in high performance, low energy homes. The brand needed to communicate scientific integrity, environmental responsibility and modern maturity, while appealing to established homeowners investing in sustainable, future focused builds.
The objective was to position Passive Form as informed, grounded and credible within a niche yet growing sector of the construction industry. This required a brand that felt intelligent and considered, not trendy or overly decorative.
We began by exploring their values, target market and the principles of passive house design to define a clear strategic direction. The resulting identity system included a custom logo mark inspired by the concept of the thermal envelope, subtly referencing containment, structure and form. The colour palette balanced environmental greens with refined gold tones, reinforcing both sustainability and maturity.
The final brand suite was designed for longevity and consistency, supported by a comprehensive style guide to ensure clarity across all future applications.
The result is a confident, industry aligned brand identity that positions Passive Form as a credible, forward thinking leader in sustainable home building.

Hannah truly immersed herself in our project and took the time to understand the principles behind passive home building. We felt she stepped into our world and translated it beautifully into our brand.
